I can't believe I didn't catch this sooner!  I was upgrading to a 2TB SSD when I noticed I had two different brands of SODIMM memory modules.  Slot 1 had a Hynrix Sodimm, and Slot 2 a Samsung Sodimm.  Then I find that they are not 2133Mhz but 1866Mhz!  I purchased this Notebook around Christmas of 2017 from QVC thinking it was a great deal.  Over the last year I noticed it was getting slower so I opted for the SSD Route.

 

I would like to know what brand of SODIMM was suppose to be installed and should I just take it to a service center?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
