Well, since you asked.  One thing I found out is I have a Skylake system which is both 7 and 8.1.  That explains why Windows stated from 7 to 10 when I upgraded.  Is this a way for HP to say this this computer isnt outdated?  Doesnt matter but what does matter is that my hard drive drivers are dated 2006.  Can that be correct?  Would they put at 2006 Hard drive in a 2015 Notebook.  And since I lost all the software that came with my computer, on the upgrade to 10, could you tell me how I can retrieve it....as well as 25gb of Box Cloud Storage.  I have a file on my desktop of the apps that were removed.    Also can I backup my files on a card with Fat32 when my files are on an NTSF?   Im having the hardest time.  Should I just delete whats on it and reformat?  If I just had that cloud storage I could do it there.  Or at least make a system image.   And how many GB is a system repair disk?  Okay one more question, how do I turn on my Bitlocker or do I have one?  I imagine I might have to do it in the BIOS because it doesnt show up on the conventional ways.  Do I have a TPM Chip?  Bet you wished you didn't ask.  Anyway, you have a spendid Christmas, Im sure you deserve it!  Thank you again.  Merry Christmas  Debbie

@WZBZJMN,

It is great to have you back and your patience is greatly appreciated.

You can download all the drivers and software for your computer from the below link.

I am not sure where exactly you are seeing the drivers for the hard drive. It is not possible to have drivers from 2006 as Windows 7 was released in 2009.

Hope that answers your question.

Good day! Take care 🙂

Cheers!

In the Device Manager.  I see 2006 for many of the drivers.  Which has me very concerned.
