Hi,
I have HP Probook 450 G3. I saw in this link https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04792126#AbT5 that I can upgrade >> Solid state drive 128 GB 2280 M2 SATA-3
Can someone confirm if I can upgrade from HDD to SSD M.2 NVME such as Samsung 970 Evo? if yes, is there a disk space limitation? can I upgrade to 1TB or 2TB?
Motherboard: hp kbc version 40.03
Thank you in advance.
Alex

Hi:
Chapter 1 page 2 of the service manual indicates that only SATA M.2 SSD's are supported, not NVMe, so a Samsung 970 would not work.
HP ProBook 450 G3 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide
If you wanted to install a SATA M.2 SSD the Western Digital Blue SATA M.2 SSD's provide the best performance for the price, in my opinion.
You can probably install one in a larger capacity than the 256 GB listed in the manual, as that is just what HP offered in the model series.
