HP ProBook 4730s
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

so apparently buying a new laptop is kinda out of reach when youre in a third world country, so to summarize it up i consider buying an external gpu (the one that they put in the expresscard slot since probook 4730s has an expresscard slot). the question is do probook 4730s supports this? and what external video cards works if the laptop supports it?

Thanks~

The Manual will not address this issue. In most cases laptops with an Expresscard 34 slot will work with an Expresscard eGPU. I think about 95% it will work with the Probook 4730s.

These are getting hard to find as Expresscard is largely obsolete now. You set this up with a desktop power supply and an external monitor. You can use any video card that will fit in the eGPU dock i.e. PCIe interface. Obviously you need a strong enough PSU to drive whatever video card you choose.
