I'm interested in buying an HP 250 G10 with 64GB of RAM. Do you think it's worth it? Could having 64GB of RAM cause any issues or damage the laptop in the long run?

You need to make sure you buy a model with a processor that would come with two memory slots.
Chapter 1 of the service manual has the memory upgrade information:
According to chapter 1 of the manual, the maximum memory would be 2 x 16 GB.
Personally, I believe trying to install 64 GB in an entry level business class notebook that only comes with the onboard Intel graphics, would be overkill.
