Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to convert my LP to a desktop, running with the screen down and connection two larger screens through a docking station. I bought a USB-C docking station and plugged it in but it stated that it was going to work n a limited capacity.

Is there a specific docking station I need to get to be able to get this to work?

Thank you all in advance for your help!

You likely got a dock which needs a USB-C with DisplayPort passthrough to drive the video ports. Your usb-C ports are "data only". So essentially they are just older USB ports capable of running a bit faster and using a different style plug. They carry no native video signal. You need to get a dock which uses DisplayLink technology where it converts regular USB data signal to a video signal. These types of docking stations cost a bit more because DisplayLink is an internal hardware chip that does the translation. Windows 8 and higher just work with DisplayLink so no driver needed. Lots of these on the market but this is an example:

Amazon.com: StarTech.com USB-C USB-A Dock - Hybrid Universal USB 3.0 Docking Station for USB-C or US...
