Hi all. I've this mobile workstation and I would like to add one docking station to it. My needed, if it is possibile, is to use 2x 4K UHD monitors to the dock (probably via DP 1.3).
I see a lot of docking station items, most of them works with Thunderbolt. Which is the best or the Worth for my purpose?
My system is the Zbook 15 G3 - Y3M95EC with 150 W power supply.
Thanks in advance

I have the same laptop and am using it in the setup you ask about...I have dual 4K monitors running each at 60 hz. The dock is the HP Zbook Thunderbolt dock.

They make this in a 150W and 230W version and mine is the 150W. It is a unique proprietary design that only works in the Zbook as it has both a USB-C power plugin and a barrell type right next to each other that only the Zbook can accept.
My only complaint is that the power cord running from the dock to the laptop is kind of short which limits where you can place the dock in relation to the laptop. We have 2 of these in my office. My employee and I both have a Zbook 15 G3 with an nVidia video card and are both using the dock to power a pair of 4K monitors and various peripherals.
Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Thanks for your proposal. I saw negative feedbacks on the Amazon's product pages you shared before.. Did that problems superseded (because message was dated 2018) by new firmware?
What do you think about this

Frankly that one has also had some issues reported but is the updated version of the one I linked. Essentially the same hardware in a different package but looks cooler I will say. Same adapter from dock to laptop as I have. Needs a 230W power supply but one comes with. I have never had a problem with mine but like to believe its maybe because I know what I am doing and Thunderbolt is a little complex to get working right.
