I recently purchased a HP - 17-cp0501na laptop. I also purchase a ZMUIPNG all-in-one USC C Hub. They do not seem to be compatible and I cannot figure out why. I wonder is the USB Type-C port on the laptop fully functional. Can anyone help?

Your HP notebook has a fully functional USB-C port, it is just not compatible with all other USB devices. Unfortunately, that is an industry norm. UBS-C External disks and USB-C flash drives will be compatible, but some USB-C hubs are not.
It would be compatible with an HP Envy USB Hub.

It is also compatible with the HP Travel USB-C hub

Thank you for the helpful reply. I bought this laptop to replace my old Dell desktop. I had hoped that my desktop set-up could be replicated with a laptop and docking station. My set-up is as follows:- 2 large monitors, 2 printers, wireless keyboard and mouse, camera, stereo speaker, card reader, ethernet port and three spare standard usb ports.
Is there a docking product that can support this?
Thanks again
Declan

If you had an Enterprise class notebook, perhaps a ZBook workstation or another Entetrtprise class notebook, then it would be pretty simple. There are docks that would let you accomplish that.
The problem is that you are trying to do it with a consumer class notebook.
