HP 250 G7 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 11

Before opening my computer, I want to know whether this computer has support. I want to upgrade my storage with Samsung's 970 evo plus nvme ssd. Previously, I upgraded my 1 TB Toshiba HDD with a SATA 3.0 SSD, but I could not do this because I did not know whether my computer had an M2 SATA slot.

I would also like to know how much RAM I can upgrade my computer to, if possible.

My motherboard: HP 8533

Yes, but you should read this article by out senior expert @Paul_Tikkanen

Crucial is a well known company and has excellent return policy if there is a problem

The M.2 listed are all Gen4 and will run at 1/2 the speed of Gen3 according to that article by Paul

What you are trying to say is very important. There is already an SSD recommendation for this computer. You suggested me to buy it, but you said that I would not get the same performance from gen4 SSDs.

Does the same thing happen with gen3 ssds or will I be able to use it at full performance? In fact, Paul told me that SATA SSDs have not better performance in every aspect. Maximum performance is not very important in this lower segment computer. If I can get enough performance from the SSD models you mentioned, the job is done. Thanks 🙂
