I have 16gb of RAM (max for my computer) and I have the I5 processor. I would like to upgrade to an SSD. I'm not sure which SSD to upgrade to or if my computer is equipt to handle the upgrade. I was told that it need to support AHCI or SATA3 to upgrade to an SSD.... I don't have a good grasp of what those are or if I truely need them to upgrade/if its worth the upgrade. Thank you for any help in advance.

Hi,
Your machine supports SSD even it only supports SATA 2 because SATA 3 is backward compatible with SATA 2.
Regards.
