Hi:
Yes, the Intel dual band wireless AC 8260 is a combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter.
Go to the device manager. Is there a Bluetooth device category listed there?
If not...
Do you know if the notebook ever had W7 installed?
If it did, the Bluetooth may have been turned off in the HP connection manager utility when the PC was upgraded to W10 and since the HP connection manager is not supported in W10, the Bluetooth remains off.
Go into the BIOS and check to make sure the Bluetooth adapter is present.
If it is present and enabled. Change the setting to Disabled and save the setting.
Then go back and enable the Bluetooth adapter and again save the setting.
Restart the PC and see if the Bluetooth adapter shows up.
If that doesn't work, I have another method you can try.
