Microsoft Windows 11

I have HP 15s Du2036tx laptop, which is nearly 2 years old it has a 1TB Hdd which feels slow and the boot time is very long so i decided to upgrade to a SSD

I chose an NVMe SSD but i don't know if m laptop has an NVMe slot.

So does my laptop has an NVMe ssd slot ?

You're very welcome.

Chapter 5 of the service manual has the procedures to open up the notebook and install the M.2 SSD.

HP wants any upgrades to be done by an authorized service center, but if you feel you can do the work yourself without breaking anything (which would void the warranty), you can do it yourself.

There is also this service teardown video you can watch...

The HP 15s-dy0000 notebook model series is covered by the same service manual as your notebook's model series.

Hi:

Yes, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.

HP only has the service manual for the older 15s-du0xxx model series, but as you can see in chapter 1, NVMe SSD's are supported in the older model series, therefore they would be supported in your notebook too.

WD Nvme greeen.jpgOk so that means that i can install this NVMe SSD in my laptop right ?

If that is the model SSD you want to install, yes it will work fine.

But personally, I would spend a little more money and get this model series instead.
