Hi guys!
I bought an HP Laptop last 2020. Model is HP 17-by2000 Laptop PC series (7EF33AV) and it’s still using a Hard drive. It’s now taking so low to boot up even if it’s still has plenty of space. (still have 320GB out of 1TB). When I tried opening applications, it takes few minutes like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. I would like to replace the hard drive with an NVME SSD but I don’t know if my laptop have a slot for it. I tried searching the internet but I can’t find any articles that says it’s NVME SSD capable. Can someone tell me if my laptop model can have the NVME SSD? Thanks in advance!

Hi:
When I enter the product number you posted in the HP partsurfer website, I get this specific model number.
HP Laptop 17-by2053cl Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
If your notebook has an Intel 10th gen core processor like the above model, it has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.
Below is the link to the service manual. Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
HP only has the manual for the older 17-by1xxx models, but you can see that even those had M.2 slots that support NVMe SSD's.

Recommended SSD's for your notebook generally available worldwide:
Samsung 980 (not 980 Pro)
Western Digital Blue SN570
