Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

 

Chapter 5 indicates that the SSD removal and replacement procedure is a customer-authorized service.

 

However, if you break something in the process of upgrading the SSD, naturally the warranty will be become void.

 

One thing to note is that if your notebook needs warranty service, you will need to return it to its original hardware configuration before sending it in for warranty service.
