I have a Probook 430 G3 and since I can't afford to buy a new more powerful laptop, I decided to install an eGPU instead. I will be using a device which will connect the graphic card to the laptop. The 430 G3 doesn't have an express card and I can't take away my wifi card but I notice there is a SSD slot. I wonder what type is it and is it compatible with the eGPU? And also can I somehow boot it up without the cover which is secured by a bolt, I tried to boot it up once when I install a second DDR3L 4GB ram and it didn't until I close the cover and resecured the cover with the bolt and it will boot up.

No, it is not fast enough for an eGPU.
Regards.
