My zbook g7 is plugged-in like a desktop 99% of the time and I'm worried the battery will deteriorate or swell in the near future. I'm thinking of removing the battery and just running the laptop plugged-in all the time. Would the laptop run without a battery? What are some good ways to mitigate battery damage when my laptop is always plugged? (Besides unplugging it and letting the battery drain, since it's attached to a dock and the dock comes is always charging it) Any help is appreciated, thanks.
