Hi,
I'm having trouble charging my new HP Elite Dragonfly G3 13.5'' laptop. If I use a non-HP USB-C charger, then all original HP chargers and docks will stop charging. It can only be fixed by resetting the laptop (hold the power button for 10 seconds).
The warranty service replaced my motherboard, but the problem remains.
Lattest BIOS installed 01.07.00 Rev.A
Thank you

Can you rephrase this? It is not understandable in English.
"If I use a non-HP USB-C charger, then all original HP chargers and docks will stop charging."

Hi Erico, same situation like here is described.

Hi @BigKarel
You should only be using HP Smart AC adapters to power and charge your HP enterprise products.
I have asked HP about the issue, since it may be a trend, through my internal contacts.
Please remain as patient as you have been since it is the weekend.

So if I understand this, you used a non HP power adapter to charge the Firefly and now it won't charge with HP adapters any more?
Is that correct?

Partly, yes.
If you use a non-HP usb-c charger (Powerdelivery standard of various manufacturers and models), which charges the notebook without problems, then you can no longer charge the notebook with the original HP usb-c charger, nor with the docking station. In order for charging with the original HP charger to work, the laptop must be restarted by holding the power button for 10s.
Charging with a non-HP charger therefore always works without problems.
