Im considering to add a M.2 NVMe SSD to my laptop, so i was planning on adding a 512gb one. Then i came across the product specifications below, does this mean that I only can have a 256gb SSD and a 1tb hdd? (Currently 1tb hdd)
If i add a 512gb M.2 SSD will it support or am i only able to add a 256gb one?
Not at all. This just catalogs how HP offered the laptop for sale. The M.2 slot can accept an NVME SSD and there is no cap on the size of it other than what's in the market. A 512gb M.2 NVME will work fine in conjunction with a hard drive.
