I went looking through HP's support pages for a new back lit keyboard for my old Envy DV7T-7300. It doesn't have anything I can buy direct from HP. Anyone care to help me out?

Sure. 

The HP part number for the backlit keyboard is 698783-001

 

Here is a search I did with many online vendor sources for the standard backlit keyboard for your notebook. I hope this helps you. The prices range from low to high. Shop smart!
