Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)
Hello! I pulled the cracked screen out of my ENVY dv6-7267cl. There is a sticker that says, "Replace with 682089-001." The trouble is, there are other stickers with additional numbers. One of them has LTN156AT20 listed at the top (with a couple more numbers below). There are lots of used 682089-001 screens out there, but is that the only number that I have to worry about? What does the LTN# signify? Many of the used screens that I've come across have a number that starts with LP instead of LTN.

HP uses part number which is from other supplier. You know all suppliers  can have many numbers to indicate their products. Your machine uses part number 682089-001 as shown:

 

       http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=C2L42UA

 

In short 682089-001 is the right one.
