Hi there,
I'm thinking to buy this laptop HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15z touch 3EC81AV_1
https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-envy-x360-15z-touch-laptop-3ec81av-1
and have some doubts.
RAM:
1 If I buy with just 1 RAM module 1x8, will the motherboard come with the second one slot free or they remove the 2nd slot?
STORAGE:
1 If I pick just the SATA HDD It will come with M.2 PCIE 2280 port?
2 If I select m.2 nvme only It will come with the sata cable/adapter for the extra HDD? (I saw a video from a similar model and they said "sata connector sold separetly, how can I get it?")
Greetings.

.1. For RAM: You can ONLY have 1 of 3 options
- 8GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM
- 12 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB, 1 x 8 GB)
- 16 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (2x8GB)
The second slot is available.
2. For storage, you have 3 options
- 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA (the M.2 SSD slot is empty)
- 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD (the HDD bay is empty, you have to buy MORE parts to connect to 2.5" HDD/SSD), HP does not supply parts as default.
- 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA; 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
My suggestion: buy top specs now, this will avoid headaches and hiccups.
Regards.

Thanks for your answer.
I just forgot the 2 questions. If I buy it without m.2 (only sata) the m.2 will be M key for pcie or could be B+M key sata.
is it M key NGFF like mac laptops or the normal one m.2 pcie?
I want to be sure because I pretend to install an normal m2 nvme evo 960.
