Product: HP ENVY Notebook - 13-d061na (ENERGY STAR)

HP have produced  set of excellent and very helpful videos. The guys demonstrating installations are bare handed and do not appear to be taking any precautionsç  What precautıons are necessary when ınstallıng a new battery and/or system board?  Thanks!

I use an anti-static wrist band.

 

Some people simply use nitrile gloves to insulate the system board from possible static buildup and that will avoid damaging the components.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm also hearing some of this is driven by historical fears.  I see no gloves or bands on the HP demo videos, which are really helpful!
