Just so you know, I have been keeping the request for information about this topic from HP alive in the Inner Circle.
The Inner Circle is a subsection of the forum where HP Experts can chat with and receive information from HP Managers, Administrators, Moderators and subject matter specialists, that is not accessible to anyone else.

An HP Subject Matter Expert provided some advice on this.
1) power reset your tablet with the keyboard attached. See the tutorial at the link below.

2) Run the HP Image Assistant with the softpaq at the link below. Your tablet is on the compatibility list.

If doing those two things does not return keyboard capability to your tablet, you will need to contact HP directly for further support.
