Hey guys! I have a question about the EliteBook 8470p with the core i5 3380m. Do all 8470p's come with a dedicated gpu? I have yet to find anyone online with an 8470p without a dedicated gpu. If I have one it does not show up in device manager and I can't seem to find when I open up the laptop.

Looks like you've most likely got an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU.

The EliteBook 8470p comes in several different configurations, so it's difficult to say without the HP Product Number (HP P/N) from your notebook.

All that you needed was your CPU model number.
http://ark.intel.com/products/71256/Intel-Core-i5-3380M-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-3_60-GHz
Processor Graphics ‡ | Intel® HD Graphics 4000 |
Graphics Base Frequency | 650 MHz |
Graphics Max Dynamic Frequency | 1.25 GHz |
Graphics Output | eDP/DP/HDMI/SDVO/CRT |
ARK is very helpfull.

No, sorry. The motherboard you have only allows for the UMA (integrated) graphics. No slot to add any other device.
This is the manual:
There was a "switchable discrete" option on that model but yours apparently does not have it.
