Elitebook 8440p

So I’ve bought an active DisplayPort to HDMI cable to connect my Elitebook 8440p to my TV. I can’t find in any display or graphic settings to select the display port. It’s just not listed or recognised. The driver is the most current. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the driver with no success. It’s an Intel graphics card on my Elitebook. I have an option for VGA but can’t seem to utilise my DisplayPort. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

What is your TV ? How many HDMI ports it has ? Some TV's have HDMI port for computers and you need to tell it which one. Please read the manual.

Regards.

Hi Banhien, the TV is an LG 43US665H0VA. It has 3 x HDMI ports which have all been tried. The inputs have also all been tried with the setting changed to PC on the TV with no luck.
