Original is a Samsung pm991 256 gb inside (much to small).

Yes.

You can upgrade to a  2TB NVME PCIe M.2 2280 SSD.

You can install any mainstream brand which fits those specifications. Samsung, Intel Corsair are just a few of the mainstream brands to consider. They are compatible with your notebook's chipset and BIOS.

Thanks for this quick answer.
would it be possible to install a 4tb too?

HP Recommended

Instead, yes. You could use a 4 TB if you can find one and pay for it. But not more than one NVME M.2 SSD at a time.

HP Recommended

Ok.  There is only one slot inside for m.2 ssd. It’s neighbor is not the same type of slot and is already used for an other card (some controller…?)

HP Recommended

Found this one’s with a acceptable price:

CRUCIAL CRUCIAL P3 Plus SSD intern, 4 TB SSD M.2 via PCIe, intern, 4 TB SSD, int

ADATA (B-Ware) SSD 4TB M.2 XPG Spectrix S40G PCIe Gen3x4 "20"
WD Black AN1500 4TB M.2 NVMe Interne SSD (WDS400T1X0L-00AUJ0)

HP Recommended

Any of those would work. The neighbor slot you ask about is WWAN (cellular modem) and would not work for storage like an M.2 SSD.
