HP EliteBook 8570w Mobile Workstation

Hi,

My EliteBook 8570w model notebook motherboard got damaged at two smd equipment named as C1009 capacitor and R1005 2.2ohm resistor with my wrong use of sliding back cover. While i opening the sliding back cover i mistakenly pulled it with a not proper angle which is causing its hook to disassemble these two smd electronical parts. I sent my pc to repair for new parts being soldered. But unfortunately they soldered the smd capacitor only. now R1005 named 2.2 ohm resistor place is empty. But computer is working without a problem for now. It can be seen from below photos. It will be very appreciated if some one can inform about the function of this two part in the circuit and what will i face with absence of these that R1005 resistor of 2.2ohm. I was not able to identify this circuit with insufficient info of circuit view i added in photo below. I need the help of experienced ones.

As i understand, this capacitor and this resistor ar connected in series. So maybe now installed capacitor without its resistor was not even a useful repair attempt due to circuit is not still completed to GND, am i right ?
