@ArsalanKhalid20,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Enabling TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0 on an HP ZHAN 66 Pro 14 G4 Notebook PC involves several steps. Please note [disclaimer!] that your BIOS settings and options may vary slightly depending on the exact model and BIOS version of your notebook. Before proceeding, ensure you have administrative privileges on the computer.

Here's a general guide to enable TPM 2.0:

  1. Update BIOS (Optional): Before starting, it's a good idea to ensure your BIOS is up to date. Visit the HP support website: HP ZHAN 66 Pro 14 G4 Notebook PC Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support and download the latest BIOS update if available. Follow the instructions provided by HP to install the update properly.

  2. Restart your Notebook: Save all your work and restart the computer to access the BIOS.

  3. Access BIOS: During the boot process, tap the F10 key to access the BIOS settings.

  4. Navigate to Security Settings: Once inside the BIOS, use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Security" or "Advanced" tab/menu.

  5. Enable TPM: Look for an option related to TPM or "Trusted Platform Module." It might be named differently depending on your BIOS version. Enable it if it is disabled.

  6. Save Changes and Exit: After enabling TPM, save the changes you made in the BIOS settings and exit the BIOS. Typically, you can do this by pressing F10 and confirming with "Yes."

  7. Check TPM Status: After your computer restarts, check the TPM status in Windows to ensure it is enabled correctly. Here's how you can do that:

    a). Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
    b). Type tpm.msc and press Enter.
    c). The "Trusted Platform Module Management" window will open. It should show "The TPM is ready for use" or a similar message, indicating that TPM is enabled.

Please keep in mind that enabling TPM may require setting a TPM owner password during the process. Remember to keep this password in a secure place, as it will be essential if you need to manage TPM-related settings in the future.

Hope this was helpful/worked out for you.

Kind Regards,
