Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having the same problem with the hinge that I see many people have with their systems.  Laptop has been well cared for and not dropped but the hinge has failed.  The case clearly shows no damage.

 

The laptop is just barely under 2 years old

 

I see that HP has offered to repair this in the past free of charge.  I would greatly appreciate this same courtesy.

 

I also have a new, very expensive 12 core, 32Gb zBook.  Does this system have the same problem?  The hinge is somewhat similar.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
