Hi, my isn't a problem, but a small request about M.2 port specifics. I want to buy another M.2 SSD and I wiev the on board disk and it's an NGFF (SATA 3) standard. The question is, this M.2 slot support an NVMe 3x4 PCIe standard or, if I instal one of them the access speed is anyvay the SATA 3 standard? Thanks in advance for answer, and have a good day.

P.S:

Another question, I read that motherboard have the Intel HM170 chipset and this apparently support the DDR4 Memory, but attualy the Notebook have mounted two 8GB DDR3 12800 PC3L (1.35V) bank. It's possible buy and mount two new DDR4 bank, and if yes, what is the max capacity in GB and frequency? Thanks a lot anymore.

The M.2 slot does not support NVME. If you put an NVME in, it will not run slower (SATA speed), the system will not detect it at all; it would be useless to you.

I understand, thanks for answer. Was what I feared and my last option. I suppose this M.2 slot are one of the first with the support only for SATA standard and do not recognizes the PCIe NVMe SSD, such a pity... Have any idea about the DDR4 support?

Specs say it uses DDR3L-1600

Ok, thanks. I suppose is a volontari BIOS "non-upgrade" support. Ok, it's normal, I suppose. Thanks again for Your kindness.

Not only that, a DDR3 slot will not fit DDR4 modules so no way to install DDR4 or even faster DDR3 in this case. DDR3L-1600 is the fastest and 16 gb is the max.

Yes, You are right for the DDR modules, but i'm referred at the M.2 slot without the support for NVMe when I spech about BIOS update. Anyway, I think really it's correct don't update some spechs with BIOS updating, despite it's possible, because this implementations are centainly much expensive and time-consuming for a "old" hardwared machines, and I think is better investing this same resources supporting the many new machines constantly produced and released. I'm only sorry not to be able to make the most of the hardware at my disposal, it's a pity, only that.
