We have 3 Hp Envy 17t-CE 100 laptops. They are great laptops, however the battery is not so great. At first I had to redo the power and sleep settings to get them to last more than 2 hours, and then they averaged about 4 to 5 hours off cord. Recently all three of them started to only last an hour off a full 100% charge. I have taken one and tried troubleshooting it. Started by checking the battery through Hp Support, Hp PC Hardware Diagnostic tool, UEFI, I also tried adjusting the power/sleep settings, I also tried resetting the BIOS, I troubleshot the Windows Update, I went through Hp Support and updated. The only thing left is to reinstall Windows 11, other than cracking the case and replacing the battery. Every scan I did on the battery and the cord checked out fine. The computer has been updated as much as possible. I have gone through the Device manager and reinstalled the battery driver. Nothing seems to work, the battery lasts (at rest with no browsers open, no user programs running, just the background programs) about an hour and 40 to 45 minutes. This isn't the only Hp computer that I have come across with a battery issue, but nothing like these laptops. **bleep**, I have better luck with Dodge transmissions than Hp batteries. What else can we do here to get at least 3 hours on a 100% battery charge???
