The nie people from the support forum contacted me about this and said it would be forwarded on to the appropriate team - 10 days later and I still have a problem and no contact. Can anyone else help?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details). If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

I also have a left broken hinge on my Envy M7-J120DX that bulgies out when I open it and makes like a cracking noise.  It has never been dropped and is a great looking laptop besides this problem that I hear everyone is having with this laptop.  Would appriciate some asstiance with HP on getting this fixed since it is a common problem with most of these laptops.  Thank you.

I have a HP ENVY m6-1350sf Notebook PC and the hinge on left is broken and cracking.  Are there any how-to videos offered by HP to repair the hinge?  What is the best advice for fixing this laptop? The Geek Squad quoted $350 which is way way too expensive for my pocketbook and seems ridiculously expensive for a hinge.

Hi, our HP Envy 6 has a defective left hinge. How do we get it fixed. It seems to be a common problem. Thanks for any support

I too have a broken hinge on the left side of my Envy. What I find truely sad is that when I read through the post, the only time someone gets a favorable response is after the cusomter gets irrate. HP obviously know there is an issue wiht the hinge and should be more responsive to their customers.
