Yet another left hinge on an Envy x360 that is broken. Did anyone ever have any luck getting HP to at least provide the parts to repair the problem? I've taken the laptop apart and see the plastic screw housing that connects to the hinge that is broken. Tried an epoxy but it wasn't strong enough (as I suspected). This laptop has better specs than anything else I can afford right now (even though it is 5 years old). If I knew what components to purchase (or if HP would provide them), I could repair it.

HP very likely does not have the parts in stock. You need hinges and you may need a base assembly and perhaps the back screen housing. Have you figured out yet exactly what you need? We can help you locate whatever that may be, but are not HP Support and cannot send them to you free.

Thanks for the reply.
I know I need a 856799-001 LCD cover (small plastic area the hinge screws into is broken).
Didn't realize the hinge itself is damaged. Maybe not moving correctly and causing the strain that damaged the lid? I don't know the part numbers for that. But I can open it up and figure it out if you don't have that information.
Bottom portion of laptop appears fine.
