In October of 2021 I bought this product and in only 2 months a window (that is supposed to pop up when the "Window symbol" key is pressed or tap the touchpad w/ three fingers) began to pop out although I don't touch any key. I tried up re-install the OS (WIndows 10) multiple times along w/ proper BIOS firmware and driver updates. I also lowered the sensitivity of the touchpad, even disabled the touchpad feature that pops up the window when I tap the pad w/ three fingers -- I did my homework related to this problem and did everything I could do based on the previous postings. I saw a recent posting for the same problem and the HP support person left a message that he/she would contact to the posting person privately for this problem. I think this is a common problem and I suspect a serious, wide-spread problem is going on w/ this product line. Please let me know how to fix this...

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ...
To help you I need to know the product number (p/n) of your notebook !
You will find this information on the back of your notebook printed in small alphanumeric letters.
The product number (p/n) is legally allowed information, just about the computer, no sensitive data.
It is allowed to post in public, no problem.

I confirmed that BIOS is up to date but most of the drivers you suggested including
Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver
Intel Human Interface Device (HID) Event Filter Drive
Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver
Realtek Card Reader Driver
Synaptics Precision Touchpad Filter Driver
don't get installed -- I got "not supported by this version of OS"
As I said, I already updated all the driver update through HP Assistant as I said in the original posting. Since it's still under warranty, I wonder whether you can replace the laptop.

All drivers are for Windows 10, which I have written to you.

If in the meantime you have upgraded to Windows 11 and have not written it, I can not know?

Recommendation and solution
If the problem could not be solved in this way, please contact HP support:
Include a detailed description of what you have done so far. If your notebook is registered at HP you can submit a service request. Otherwise you need to provide an invoice as proof of purchase, the product number (p/n) and the serial number (s/n).
Good luck
