14-DF0023CL, I couldn't see where the memory was on the manual. I am assuming there are two slots and you can put in 2x8 max. DDr4 2400, is that correct.
Could I go a bit higher tha 2400. Its Black friday and there are memory deals all over the place.
Is there somwhere you can find a diagram/picture of the inside - mother board on the hp site or elsewhere, where everything is and spare slots or possibilities to add or change.
Thank you for all your help

Here's the Service manual:
Memory is DDR4-2666 so that is what you should buy but the system bridges it to 2400 speed so 2400 is as fast as it can go. So buy 2666 but expect it to run at 2400.
Very good diagram of the inside at p. 35 of the Manual and it looks like this:

You live and learn and need to be guided by Mr. Huffer, I am forever in your debt, Thank you.
Though I would like to comment, that I think you must hunt evcerywhere for data, t ios true that it is right there, but it is right there for those who walk the asles everythere. Newbe's to info like my self need it in front of my face and not 6 clicks away. You need a lot of other information before hand to know where to look and where could it be.
I would have preferred PCIe m.2 instead of the just M.2, however, as I said, you live and learn and shouldnt look at a gift horse in the mouth.
Thank you again
