Hello,
I was using my notebook today, and it suddenly froze. I waited 10 minutes and nothing happened, so I decided to shut it down with the power button. But when I powered it up again, I got the error "Hard Disk (3F1)" and later "Boot Device Not Found (3F0)".
Is there a way to solve this?

In most cases it means hard drive has failed.
Last thing to do is to reseat hard drive and check the error persists. But looks like it needs major disassembly to reach the hard drive bay.

I'll suggest get a new hard drive of similar form factor. 2.5 inch 7mm/9.5mm thick SATA HDD or SSD. After replacement, use Recovery USB/discs to factory reset OS.
If you're within warranty, HP would replace it for free.

Else if you're not within warranty & you've not created recovery USB after first setup of this laptop, you can do a clean install of Windows 8.1 64 bit using Option 1 in this tutorial:

Test your hard drive extensively by tapping F2 key as soon as you powered on laptop.
