Hp ex950 pcie ssd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I purchased an ex950 1tb ssd last year and it is much slower than everyone else. At q8 t1 on sequentials in crystaldisk mark it says about 2700MBps read and 2300 write. My 500gb silicon power is way faster in read and the same at write through the chipset of my x570 aorus master. I know it is slower through the chipset than through a cpu connected slot but that seems way too slow. I have been hunting for an answer for many months and have seen some reviews that were given a new firmware but I haven't been able to find it. Hp doesn't seem to handle the support for the ex950 in the US. Has anyone else been able to solve this? Or possibly know where and how to update the firmware?

 Thank you

Sorry I accidentally put this in the wrong section. It should be in desktop hardware.
