Product: HP Envy 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cw1000 IDS Base Model

On my HP 4T Envy Laptop purchased at Walmart on March 25, 2025 with $99 warranty added to purchase price the charger failed within three months, dead as a door nail by June 26, 2025. No help from Walmart and HP chatbot support was even worse... a waste of 4 good hours going from one dead end to another. I bought a substitute charger from Amazon to get back in business. I am still seeking help from HP to no avail... My question is this: what good is the extended warranty if it does not actually provide a basis for getting the needed part, to wit, a functional charger/adapter manufactured by HP for this laptop. In general I like HP products, but this experience with the charger is not good. Can you help me?
