I recently opened my laptop and see there is 512GB Nvme drive (red color) and hard disk (green color) in the laptop. And the storage in my device is only 512 GB. i saw a video and that guy telling this hard disk is a fake and we can add new hard disk for the extra storage. so i want to know if its true, so i can add more storage.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06702796
As shown, it ONLY has 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD of storage. The empty (not fake) area is for a 2.5" HDD or SSD if you wish to add to get more room. HP may put a dummy plastics block there.
Regards.
