Hi @Ralgirl,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
To locate the image and part number for the fan used in the HP 15-db0xxx laptop with an AMD Ryzen 3 2200U processor and Radeon Vega graphics, you can follow these steps:
1. Check the HP PartSurfer
- HP PartSurfer is an official HP tool that allows you to search for parts using the laptop model or product number.
- Visit the HP PartSurfer website.
- Enter your laptop's exact model number (HP 15-db0xxx) or product number.
- Once the search results appear, look for the cooling fan or heatsink assembly, which should include the fan part number.
2. Service Manual
- HP laptops usually have a service manual available on the HP Support website, which includes detailed diagrams and part numbers.
- Go to the HP Support website.
- Enter your laptop's model number.
- Download the service manual (also known as the maintenance and service guide) for your specific model.
- In the manual, locate the section that lists replaceable parts or the exploded view diagram, where you should find the fan's part number and possibly an image.
3. Physical Inspection
- If you're comfortable disassembling your laptop, you can open it up and check the fan for a label that typically includes the part number.
- This number is usually printed directly on the fan itself.
If you're unable to find the information online, you can contact HP Phone Support directly. They should be able to provide you with the exact part number and an image of the fan.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
