So the laptop heats up very much, and the fans do not seem to be working like they did about a year ago. Have cleaned the same already. No way to check hardware diagnostic as the option is not there in the hardware diagnostic tests. Third party software like speedfan do not give any results either.

The way to check if the fans work is to enter the BIOS and in Configuration, turn on the Fans always on option, save and exit.
The notebook should boot to the login screen and the fans should be on.

Hi community!
If the FAN option is not available in your BIOS, it is possible to use UEFI tests to test the FAN as well as many other components of your computer. Check the link below on how to test components:
