hey, I have been using my HP pavilion 14 plus laptop since a month now and i just realized that my one of my fans makes this very annoying whitling noise. I opened my laptop and saw that it didnt run as smoothly as the one left to it. So i decided to swap it out with a new one. The Question I have is, is this fan I found on ebay the right one? There are 2 Fans installed inside of the laptop and the smaller one (on the right side if you open the laptop) is making this noise. I know in the product description it says that it is compatible with the eh-1175ng so I want to know if it will also fit for the ew-1175ng. The product number of the fan in the picture is N10439-001 if you cant read it btw

Hi @tpmodern
The service manual lists this part number, which does not match the model you specified.

You're welcome, but I recommend checking the temperature of the laptop as well. That whistling sound from the fans is usually caused by them spinning too fast due to the temperature of the laptop.

It is correct if it has two fans; if it has only one fan, you should only purchase the first one that corresponds to the part number.

I already did that but my laptop usually has around 32-45°C so everything is as it should be. I normally just use it for coding, university and light work stuff. This whistling sound also accurs when they only spin very slightly
