Hello there, The Fans in my laptop never fires. I know I have a pretty weak CPU in my notebook( Pentium N3710 ) and It does not require a lot of power. But still I am a little curious to know whether my Motherboard even supports a CPU cooler or not, or is it just an issue with my Unit.. And if it does not then can I add a third party CPU cooler and a Heat Pipe? (I know its pretty far fetched but still ). Also, It would be wonderful to know if my Motherboard supports Dual Channel RAM or not, as I am planning to upgrade my machine in the future. In the task manager It shows that it has two RAM slots available, but In CRUCIAL 's Website it shows that my machine only has one RAM slot( It currently run on 4 Gigs DDR3L). THANK YOU

@NOOBKRA Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that fan is not working.

Please update the BIOS and check for the issue.

I have checked the manual.

Two non-customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slots (Intel Core processors) DDR4-2133 dual channel support Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following conƭgurations

● 16384-MB total system memory (8192×2)

● 8192-MB total system memory (8192×1) or (4096×2)

● 6144-MB total system memory (4096+2048)

● 4096-MB total system memory (4096×1) or (2048×2)

I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.
