Hey @Niklez1,

Thank you for joining in on the HP Support Forums and Welcome! I wanted to reach out to you and let you know I will do my absolute best to help! I understand that you are receiving a fatal hardware error.

What does the error message say exactly?

Does your Notebook turn on?

Are you seeing a blue screen or a black screen?

What do you see when you turn the Notebook on?

Do you hear the fan running?

Can you get to the BIOS screen at all?

If you require further assistance, I would be more than happy to continue to help you. Please just re-post with the results of the troubleshooting and your Model Number (How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?).

I hope this helps!

Have a great day! Smiley Happy

Hello and thanks for the answer.. im going to try and explain.
There is no error.. basically my computer is shut down .. i press the powerbotton.. the pc starts running ..you can hear it... the monitor works because sometimes if i shut it down for 5 times it will pop up the blue acreen with hp assistance reset troubleshoot atuff ect. So the monitor is ok.. buut when i go in the console and try to move the files for a dir to another ex c to d ect it will blgive me a fatal hardware error ..basically the microprocessor cannot access the dir in the hd... i think that by hitting it i broke a wire or a cinnection..hoping not an entire hard drive.
If i try not doing nothing so i dont hard reset it.. it never stars up to windows... sonetimes Hp logo posps out and starts loading but never finishes or it finishes and it ends up in a black screen with the pc on.. .. i hope its enought..between i bought my pc in Gloucester, Great brittain..and now i live in italy .. and of course i dont think i still have the insurance nor the receip ... so i basically want to know what do i have to fix by myself ( at leqst i will try to) or if in the end i will have to buy another product. 1 thing is for sure tho .. no more league of legends

Hey,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Please disconnect all connected devices and cables such as Personal Media Drives, USB drives, printers, and faxes. Remove media from internal drives, and remove any recently added internal hardware.

Did you happen to back up all personal files before this happened at any time? For instructions to backup and save your files, see Backing up your files (Windows 10, 😎

Do  you have recovery discs?

Do you have an external monitor that we can hook up to the Notebook to see if a screen displays on it?

What exactly does the fatal hardware error that you seen say?

Have you tried performing a hard reset?

Can you boot into Safe Mode?

Do you have any beep codes or blinking LED lights

Here is a document I found called Computer Does Not Start. Some of the steps in this document may help.

please try Removing and reseating the memory modules

Follow these steps to remove and reseat memory modules:

  1. Turn off the computer and disconnect the power cord.

  2. Remove the cover to access the memory.

  3. Reinsert all memory modules.

  4. Replace the service cover, battery, and power cord.

  5. Turn on the computer.

Please take a look at the Computer Starts but Screen Remains Blank documentation also. Again, there are steps that you can try that may help.

Will it allow you to do a Hardware Test? HP provides diagnostic software that you can use to test hardware components on your computer; to rule out or confirm hardware failures when something is wrong. This is done in the BIOS which generally will be accessible before the Operating System loads. Please follow these steps to see if you can do any hardware testing.

I would be more than happy to continue to help. Please make sure that you include the detailed results of the questions asked above and the troubleshooting steps provided in the documents.

Thanks!

Hey,

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

You had mentioned receiving a Failure ID of: 0LSNW0-79286F-XD7V7G-60AC03. This Failure ID Code is the code for "Hard Disk 1 SMART Hard Drive Detects Imminent Failure", which in other words may be linked to the hard drive.

I would suggest backing up all important files as soon as you can just to be safe! Although I have provided the Backing up your files (Windows 10, 😎 document, here is the Hard Drive Failure Errors: Imminent Failure, Smart, BIOHD, HD535, etc.document that has more steps also. There is also a section on replacing the hard drive.Currently I believe based on your product specifications that you have a 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA.

Here is the HP 15-r005na Notebook Maintenance and Service Guide. In Chapter 2 on pg 1, you will see the hard drive specifications. For your convenience, I have also provided it below:

Hard drives

Supports 6.35-cm (2.5-in) hard drives in 9.5-mm (.37-in) and 7.0-mm (.28-in) thicknesses

Serial ATA

Supports the following hard drives:

● 1-TB, 5400-rpm, 9.5-mm

● 750-GB, 5400-rpm, 9.5-mm

● 500-GB, 5400-rpm, 9.5-mm or 7.0-mm

● 320-GB, 5400-rpm, 9.5-mm or 7.0-mm

If you would like to order a hard drive for your Notebook, you can use the HP PartSurfer website.

Please let me know if I answered your question by clicking the Thumbs Up button. If the issue has been resolved for you today, please mark this post as an Accepted Solution. This will help other members find the answers more efficiently.
