Dear Sir/Madam
Laptop: HP envy 13
Serial No: [Personal Information Removed]
Part No: 9TN35PA
I bought an HP envy laptop from Australia at JB Hifi, Queensland 4075 on 30 January 2020 for $ 1,500 with 'International Warranty'. I am currently in Mauritius and I have started experiencing some problems with the newly bought laptop since July 2020 which is only 4 months after the purchase of the laptop.
I have brought the laptop to be repaired at Superdist Mauritius which is the only distributor of HP in Mauritius. I understand that the original motherboard of my laptop is faulty and Superdist has tried its utmost best to replace the motherboard. However, Superdist has informed me that the new motherboard which they requested from HP to be installed in the laptop is also faulty. I understand that Superdist is currently awaiting another new motherboard which I hope will function properly this time. Superdist states that it cannot give me a new replacement laptop given its working arrangements with HP.
Given the prevailing Covid outbreak, it is impossible that I have the laptop sent to Australia for replacement.
I will be grateful if needful can be done to restore my laptop to proper functioning or if the laptop can be replaced with a new one. I have not been able to use my laptop for a month now and this is causing me much prejudice.
I am a sincere customer of HP but I was quite taken aback by the fact that the motherboard of a newly bought laptop is faulty and that the new replacement motherboard is also faulty.
Kind Regards
