When I have a flash drive in one of the usb ports, file explorer will randomly open every few minutes. It's frustrating when I'm working on a document and FE window will pop up. Even if I don't have a file open/working on anything on the flash drive, it will just suddenly pop up as long as the flash drive is in the port. This is a new laptop. It never did this w/my Envy model.

HP Recommended

Just Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > AutoPlay (or search "AutoPlay"). Toggle off "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices," then under Removable drives, select "Take no action." This should fix it

Hi, thank you for that, but then when I connect the flash drive to use it, it doesn't open so I can choose a file, Correct?
