Hi,

I am trying to fix my mums laptop as the microphone was not picking up any sound (unless manually flicked) and we had exhausted all potential software solutions. We decided to replace the camera/microphone module/board as shown in the HP support YouTube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PE99VW8Gi5U&ab_channel=HPSupport

Unfortunately, I cant seem to find a replacement part (new or used) through either HP Parts Store, HP PartSurfer or any other online retailer. I have used all serial/model/part numbers on both the laptop and the board.

Any advice on where to look would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,
Katie

N.B. Unfortunately the device is just out of warranty and we did not notice the issue before as she hadn't needed the microphone until the recent surge in video calling!

Please see pictures attached for details.
These are the relevant numbers from the board:
916362-3LO
DGFSN019I91BOL
6SF108N2A
FW 0007 HW 2.1

Apologies if this is a duplicate post, I think it may have been removed as I inadvertently included the laptop serial number previously!
