Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that.

 

Maybe you can use the Windows Hello app instead.

Uninstall the client security app since it doesn't work, and see if this software works instead.

 

This package contains the HP SimplePass Identity Protection Software for the supported notebook models and operating systems. This software protects identity information and account access using the computer owner's fingerprint.

If not, you will need to start a new topic.  Maybe someone else knows what the problem is.

 

I have never used the fingerprint sensors on my HP Elitebooks.  I just install the driver.
