Product: HP Pavilion 14-ce3013tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I check that the fingerprint reader is not detect at device manager.

I already install SP98749 and update the BIOS, still the hardware is not detect at device manager.

Group policy already edit so can enable biometrics device.

I use Windows 10 version 20H2, and check at HP website, but no fingerprint driver available.

 

Is it the problem that SP98749 is not compatible with Windows 10 version 20H2?

 

Please help me.

I don't know where do you get the fingerprint reader from. It may have a fingerprint location but it may be just a place holder, no actual fingerprint reader there BECAUSE not all machines have this option:
