Product: elitebook 850 G7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Fingerprint reader not recognising fingerprint. Tried registering fingerprint again but will not accept. Will not clear so that I can rescan. Login OK using password but fingerprint would be useful. How can I wipe out old fingerprints and start again. Any help would be appreciated

Finger print reader is an option. Did you buy this option ?  If not you can buy parts M07206-001 and M05255-001 and install to your machine as mentioned on page 19 of the following manual

HP Recommended

The fingerprint reader is standard on this Elitebook and was working until an upgrade. I wish to reset the prints but cannot delete the original prints which are not, now, verified. The remove key in settings etc does not work. I ask how to remove those prints,
